Kombucha is Full of Healthy Probiotics!

Kombucha is sweet tea fermented by a SCOBY, or “mother”.  SCOBY stands for a “Symbiotic Colony Of Bacteria and Yeast”.  Symbiotic because the Bacteria and Yeast take care of each other!  The yeast eat the sugar and produces alcohol,  Then probiotic bacteria eats the alcohol and produces the healthy organic acids that give komucha it’s sour taste.

Kombucha tea has been used for memory losspremenstrual syndrome (PMS), joint pain(rheumatism), aging, loss of appetite, AIDS, cancerhigh blood pressureconstipationarthritis, and hair regrowth. It is also used for increasing white cell (T-cell) counts, boosting the immune system, and strengthening the metabolism.

Some people apply kombucha tea directly to the skin for pain!

How does it work?

Kombucha tea contains alcohol, vinegar, B vitamins, caffeine, sugar, and other substances. However, there isn’t enough evidence to know how kombucha tea might work for medicinal uses.
